Investigating Pre-Service EFL Teachers’ Perceptions of Online Education

Abstract

This study sets out to investigate the pre-service EFL teachers’ opinions on online education. The participants were 3rd and 4th-grade students studying ELT departments in three different state universities. The quantitative research design was adopted for the current study. Data was gathered through a questionnaire. Having collected data, descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA were conducted to analyze data. The results indicated that gender and grade level had an impact on participants’ attitudes. However, no significant difference was detected between participants’ opinions and their GPA.
