Abstract

The Editors-in-Chief and the Editorial Board are proud to introduce Volume 6, Issue 1 of the Futuristic Implementations of Research in Education (FIRE). This issue features 1 article that is related to research methodology.

Within the article, Zidane (2025) emphasized the importance of research methodology courses in promoting the research skills of students. Therefore, the author advocated scenario-based assessment to assess and evaluate knowledge and learner outcomes in research methodology courses in higher education.

To mention, this issue reaches readers later than its intended publication date. During 2025, exceptional personal circumstances affecting members of the editorial team also affected the Journal’s timeline this year. Article(s) accepted during this period keep their original acceptance date(s), which are recorded with their contribution on the system. We are grateful to our authors and reviewers for their patience while the Journal resumed its work.

We would like to thank the author, reviewers, and readers for their support.
